Kayla Bumpus, the ex-attorney for Lil Woody, took the stand on Monday morning and told the court about a private conversation that happened during the second ex-parte meeting on June 10. Attorney Bumpus said state attorney Simone Hylton told Lil Woody she would not let him testify that he killed Donovan Thomas. The private conversation happened while Judge Ural Glanville was not in the room.

  1. Keep in mind she didn’t want to represent woody. GLANVILLE THE RECUSED and corrupt judge forced her to stay on the case

  2. 38:34 people were on and out, in and out of a 3+ hour meeting, she doesn’t remember who went in and out when……WHY is this so hard to understand??????

  3. 30:53 what’s with the judge’s attitude? Sounds like she wants to shut this down and is purposely misunderstanding what Kayla is saying. Seems to be covering for Glanville, like she is trying to g to look impartial as she does damage control and clean up for the court and the state

  4. 16:34 this isn’t that complicated. It was a meeting that lasted HOURS, people were in and out of the room. At some point the DA told the judge to close his ears. At some other point the judge left the room and transcription was stopped. Why is the judge getting bogged down with semantics when the point is quite clear?

  5. Iim so tired of our justice system making their own laws cause they ware a robe. The law is the LAW.

  6. No Attorney should have to be called. Sad sad sad. Someone give us a judge who respects the law that Attorney and client privilege is sacred.

  7. I would never guess she is a lawyer with those edges. Noway I would hire her for representation on a court case

  8. For an attorney, Kayla Bumpus is a terrible witness, her recall of this ex-parte meeting is very poor, she didn't even take notes during this meeting, or make any notes afterwards.
