Oregon legislators have passed a bipartisan bill undoing a key part of the state’s decriminalization law, penalizing people for possession and selling small amounts of drugs. In New York, the governor is sending the National Guard into to the subways after a string of violent crimes and the DC mayor has suggested they may lock up kids who use guns in criminal activity.
