The firm that is now The Law Offices of Di Maria & Cone began in 1939 when the firm’s founder, Philip A. Di Maria became an attorney. After World War II started, he joined the army as an attorney and landed at Normandy Beach shortly after D-Day with a book of California statutes in his gear. After the end of World War II, Di Maria returned to his firm where he worked until retiring in 2000. His daughter, Anne Di Maria Cone, followed in his footsteps and worked as an attorney from 1979 to 2009.
Today, The Law Offices of Di Maria & Cone remains a family business and continues its work under the leadership of Philip’s son-in-law, Steven J Cone. The Law Offices of Di Maria & Cone provides legal services for premarital agreements, divorce, custody and visitation, domestic violence, spousal and child support, and division of property.
