I'm not sure if the family agreed to it so they didn't have to go through a painful and gruesome trial but I can't believe part of the plea deal was taking burglary and possession of cp images charges off the table. I'm usually pretty impressed with the US justice system – harsh sentences for the very worst offenders. In Australia we're so lenient. Giving someone like this the chance of parole is something we'd do. 🙄

In his writings he also said that his "perfect murder" included acting as tho he had had a mental break and would only answer in the most simplistic terms (hence the "yes, no, I don't know", but this moron obviously wasn't as smart as he thought since he had already spoken to the police in his normal demeanor, which just makes him look like an idiot, and guilty as sin
