  1. I think they should move it. I know it's an unusual thing to do, but this is an unusual case. I think it is too hard to have a fair trial in the original county.

  2. Sick of this BS. Get the trial underway already. It was supposed to happen 14 months ago. This case has mistrial written all over it.

  3. I think he'll get his change of venue, at a financial cost to the county trying him. Give him what he wants, one less reason for appeal if he's convicted. That being said, I think it's vastly unfair to heap these financial expenses on the families of victims. I hate it, but I believe that the defendant's wishes will take precedence over those of the victims' families. I think no matter where he's tried, the result will be the same.

  4. He’s a murderer , the entire country knows this.. how dare he put the families through this charade

  5. They need to treat him like every other person on trial, it’s wrong to waste the courts time

  6. Couldn't they appoint a special prosecutor to try the case and the and some of the regular staff can at their regular office??

  7. I think it's true that a fair trial will be nearly I possible. The entire country was bombarded with coverage of these murders. He should have pled guilty and skipped the trial.

  8. It's certainly a valid argument that a juror wouldn't want to vote "Not Guilty" in this case, for fear of public censure. Some of the jurors in the Derek Chauvin trial (re: Geo. Floyd) expressed a similar issue after that trial. I was surprised that didn't warrant a mistrial, although I'm sure the prosecution didn't want to have to try it again.

  9. People from all over the world myself included I'm an Ontario Canada we all know this case it doesn't matter where they move it people already know
