3. Thank you television for destroying generations of citizens' ability to set aside emotions and examine evidence with an impartial mind (my humble opinion). I hope the Canton Police Department is held accountable for the initial investigation they did and the glaring failures in the most basic elements of criminal investigation.

4. Many of us have invested alot of listening & attention to this case. And it was eye opening for sure.
   It was Chaotic Convoluted Crammed Corrupt ..along with a few other C words…
   Organised chaos is in itself an art form. This case was so crammed & convoluted, I think a lot of people understandably zoned out. When they came back in the game – the dots are just not joining up. And for some that confusion (more C words) can easily support further opinions.
   In some way, hopefully, this result could eventually lend itself to clarity (oops, there goes another one) if there is further re-trial. This could be very good for Karen – eventually. 💖🤍💖

6. I believe even if the Commonwealth thinks it will get always mistrial as many times as allowed by law or lose, they will continue to Prosecute Karen Reed to ’stick it’ to her financially, emotionally and healthily.

14. This is simply terrifying to me. On No level did the CW even prove Officer O'Keef was hit by a vehicle. He was clearly beat up. Factor in the ridiculous investigation (or lack of) The unbiased testimony of the defense experts and it's clearly a not guilty. Oh how America has fallen.
    I hope Karen Read gets a change of venue. CANTON is rotten to the core.

17. Awesome coverage Melanie! I think a mistrial in this corrupt county is a huge win. I’d like to know the chain of custody of the jurors’ notebooks. The dismissal of a juror and the 2 alternates / chosen Foreman situation….leaves me with questions regarding the chain of custody and security of those notebooks. You and Mark make an excellent team! 21. I've probably watched more Karen Read output than is healthy. I'm staggered that anyone could possibly believe her guilty, but then again, all the stuff I've watched has primarily been pro-Defence. I wonder if I'm guilty of falling into an in-group feedback loop? Am I a baddie, I wonder?

The juror did not want to go on camera, but she allowed Louisa Moller to take notes and she reported what the juror said to her. 38. I came into this as a juror, no outside information. I fully believe Karen didn't do it!
    I still feel bad for John's parents! They will never see justice most likely. Paul is childish by telling Karen he's not done with her yet. 🤬

39. ⚠️ Proctor has NOT been fired yet ! He has been transferred and depending upon The MSP guidelines and the MSP union contract, he may not be fired ! Should he be fired is a totally different story and what’s going on with Proctors bosses ? They should’ve been transferred and suspended also but like the NYPD, bosses are excluded from punishment ! ⚠️

42. Delusional. She hit in a fit of rage, not intending to kill him which is why she then sent those derogatory text messages and voicemails. But when he failed to respond to any of her messages, she realized she'd done more damage than she'd thought and panicked, leading to a charade.
