  1. Just to make it clear, a cease and desist order has absoutely no legal value except as notice. You do not have to obey it, though in many cases it is smart to do so.

  2. Title story. Op are you hard of hearing? Your lawyer strictly told you to not engage with Karen and to simply take photos, and let the court sort it out. But it seems to me like you don't listen to good. Like another person commented, just call the police and let them tell her. I'm glad it worked out in the end.

  3. I am glad they became friends. I have a neighbor that hated me and called code enforcement b/c my tiny dog (12 pounds) left ONE poop on my driveway and I forgot to clean it up after our walk. The CF said the way she described it that my driveway was covered in dog poo. No fine and I cleaned up the little poo. (she doesn't like animals) She also called CF when we first moved in (3 weeks) because there was two boards laying on the side of our house because the painter left them there after fixing the trim. 2 boards. Said there was rats living in the boards. No rats. No fine. welcome to the neighborhood!
Now she is all friendly with me b/c she needs me to watch her house and get her mail when she goes away.

  4. @13:11 , the infamously overused, “I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding…” used by other sites and pure bullshyt stories!😂😂😂

  5. Feel bad for the guy in the first story, but he needs some backbone. He knows what it is and he should realize people are trying to bulldoze him so he needs to be firm and say no it’s not going up and if it does go up and found to be incorrect, the party paid for will pay for its demolition

  6. Placing something in someone else's mailbox is a federal offense. Why didn't they pursue this?

  7. "Mr. FOREMAN, I'm warning you to stop erecting his fence. If you continue, it will be considered unlawful. You need only to wait for a survey, or you can see me in Court, along with Mrs. H." end of discussion.

  8. Should at the very least have told her "if you're really sorry you can reimburse me for the trees you destroyed".

  9. Why did they never call the police. They would have told the fence builders to get off the property until the dispute was finished.
