1. This is only tangentially related but I had a lawsuit as a teenager. I sat through a combined total of at least 24 hours of depositions. It was exhausting. One day I came home and went straight to bed. On the plus side I did pay close attention to the procedural side of things. It really taught me a lot.

9. I can always tell when you are speaking with conviction about something. Your voice almost cracks at times.

10. This judge did get up and walked out from the bench when the defendant's lawyer went to state her objection, this judge should be removed and not allowed to site on any other cases.

12. FYI, this was in the trial of George Kelly, an Arizona rancher. The trial ended in deadlocked jury. The prosecutor has decided not to pursue another trial.
