  1. If these people cared about anyone, they should have pleaded guilty, and saved those poor parents and jurors from having to witness that horror.

  2. I did a Google Image search of him. I couldn't find one pic of him with any kind of hearing aid in. What's up with these headphones straight out of 1970's elementary school audio/visual supply drawer with disposable ear muff condoms? If he honestly has hearing problems get him normal hearing aids. They are there to illicit pity. He clearly heard his pos son ask him to take care of his cat Dexter (named after a tv serial killer).

  3. Telling the jury what they will not hear… Dude should've taken a plea deal. The defense has an uphill battle…

  4. It's just a repeat of the mother's trial, it will also be the same verdict. Who will be next just to appease the media hungry DA's and the parents.

  5. His lawyer just said “He did not know his son had access to that gun”…. Well I’m sorry but you bought it so it’s your responsibility for knowing its location and for it’s safe storage. He is the definition of negligent !!!

  6. How many kids across America could possibly access a gun that the family owns, I wonder what that number actually is?

  7. Well, at least this defense attorney didnt talk about Taylor Swift and that is a big improvement over his wifes lawyer

  8. brought gun for son suffering from mental health issues ,,failed to do anything when son was found to be drawing violent pictures ..failed to lock gun up .. guilty ..guilty guilty plus his wife was hooking up with anyone or anything in parking lots ,hotels ..not sure was he also involved with the hook ups ..??

  9. She seems to be a better attorney than the one the mother had. I wonder if that will lead to a different outcome.

  10. why is she going on and on about doordash not being an important job? the point/benefit of being an independent contractor is that if your child’s school calls because he’s having mental health issues, you can toggle off to be a parent and go get your kid. he chose delivering cheeseburgers over taking his son’s mental health seriously. that’s the point of bringing up his job.

  11. Well, at least she doesn't appear that she's going to be an attention-seeking spectacle like the wife's attorney was… thank God.

  12. James’s attorney is LOL 😝 James will be CONVICTED 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

  13. Solid opening. Here's the analogy: if you lend somebody your car and they hurt someone with it, you are liable along with eith the driver. If the car was stolen, the owner bears no responsibility.

So it is with the gun: James bought and oened the hun. The moment Ethan took the gun without permission (stole it) to commit a crime, he assumed all responsibility for his actions.

  14. THIS SEEMS TO BE A EVERY SCHOOL YR SITUATION WHY DO THEY ACT SURPRISED. USUAL SUSPECTS WHY DON'T THEY HAVE METAL DETECTORS IN PLACE BY THIS TIME. THEY STATED IT WOULD SEEM TO "URBAN" BUT YET WE DON'T HAVE THIS @ THE OTHER SCHOOLS. START HOLDING THESE "DONORS" ACCOUNTABLE FOR THESE ACTIONS IT'S JUST HORRIBLE. I BELIEVE I SEEN THE WIFE ON TRIAL SHE WAS FOUND GUILTY. AS SHE SHOULD'VE. HOW CAN ANYONE DEFEND FOLKS LIKE THAT I'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND IT THANK GOODNESS I DON'T HAVE THESE ISSUES / PROBLEMS.

  15. Nothing she said was relevant! Basically a weak defense with no hindsight as the excuse! WOW 😮 that’s way more honest than Jennifer’s case!James broke Michigan gun access law most definitely! And didn’t care and ignorantly caused death and Mahem ruining a lot of lives! Manslaughter for sure from that thumbing the law negligence! Hindsight doesn’t matter! Dumb defense! Jury is eyerolling bigtime 🤦‍♀️
