Who is Ty Cobb?
Ty Cobb is known as a former lawyer who served as the White House special counsel during the early stages of President Donald Trump’s administration. He joined Trump’s legal team in July 2017 and played a role in dealing with matters related to the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

What was the Mueller special counsel investigation?
The Mueller Special Counsel investigation was an inquiry led by former FBI Director Robert Mueller, initiated in May 2017 by the U.S. Department of Justice. It focused on Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, potential coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia, and possible obstruction of justice by President Donald Trump. The investigation concluded in March 2019 with the submission of the Mueller Report, which found insufficient evidence of a criminal conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia but did not reach a definitive conclusion on obstruction of justice.

What are Donald Trump’s legal problems?
Donald Trump faced several legal challenges. These included investigations into the financial practices of the Trump Organization, both by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the New York Attorney General’s office. There were also inquiries related to hush money payments made to Stormy Daniels and investigations into the phone call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger regarding election results. These legal matters involve potential issues such as tax fraud, insurance fraud, campaign finance violations, and potential interference in election processes.

  1. Not really sure how Ty Cobb can claim no link between Russia and the Trump campaign when three senior members of the 2016 Trump campaign, Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Trump Campaign Chairman Paul Manafort met with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya at Trump Tower. The meeting itself was arranged with the promise of dirt on Hillary Clinton, with Don Jr. exchanging e-mails with publicist and long-time Trump acquaintance Briton, Rob Goldstone who arranged the meeting. In an e-mail to Trump Jr. Goldstone wrote:

"Emin just called and asked me to contact you with something very interesting.

The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.

This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump – helped along by Aras and Emin".

    Trump Jr. responded:

"Thanks Rob I appreciate that. I am on the road at the moment but perhaps I just speak to Emin first. Seems we have some time and if it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer. Could we do a call first thing next week when I am back?"

It was then was agreed that the material would be delivered to Trump Jr. by an unnamed "Russian government attorney". At the meeting, Goldstone introduced this person as Moscow-based attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya, with the meeting also attended by former Russian counter-intelligence officer Rinat Akhmetshin and a translator.

Veselnitskaya stated that she was not a government official; however, she is known to have ties to the Russian government and later described herself as an "informant" to the office of the Russian prosecutor general. According to Goldstone, she had planned to be in New York for a court appearance, so Trump Jr. offered an in-person meeting that afternoon, which Goldstone confirmed. Trump Jr. forwarded the e-mail thread to Kushner and Manafort.

Trump Jr. also apparently made a big show of telling everyone the Russians were coming, announcing in the regular morning meeting of senior campaign staff and Trump family members that he had “a lead on negative information about the Clinton Foundation” that he was taking a meeting to investigate, according to testimony from Manafort deputy Rick Gates, which was revealed in the Mueller report. Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Manafort, Hope Hicks, Ivanka Trump and Kushner all attended the morning meeting days before the Trump Tower meeting, with Ivanka Trump and Kushner attending late, according to Gates. Yet for some inexplicable reason, Mueller decided that no indictments were needed here!

Donald Trump Jr. made several misleading statements about the meeting. He initially told the press that it was held to discuss adoptions of Russian children by Americans., although why Goldstone, Kushner and Manafort needed to be there is it was, is a total mystery!

Then after news reports stated that Trump Jr. knew the meeting was political, he admitted in a tweet that he had agreed to the meeting with the understanding that he would receive information damaging to Hillary Clinton, and that he was conducting opposition research. That is not deemed as opposition research when federal law makes it a potential crime for any person to “solicit” (that is, expressly or impliedly ask for) the contribution of “anything of value” from a foreign citizen.

When The New York Times was about to report on e-mail exchanges between Goldstone and Trump Jr., Trump Jr. himself published the emails. It was later reported that then-President Donald Trump himself drafted Trump Jr.'s initial misleading statement. The report was later confirmed by the president's attorneys, with the president denying knowledge of the meeting.

  2. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t the Republicans initiate the original investigator that Hillary ended up with?

  3. if so then there's the proof of his deepstate claims since made-men like Clinton Bush Obama and a whole heap of others got away with crimes that significantly dwarf his – the precedent has been set 😉
