Ever been asked by a cop, “Where are you headed?” or, “Where are you coming from?”
The truth is, cops really don’t care about your answers to these questions. They’re testing you to see if you’re nervous giving the answer or if they can smell alcohol on your breath. If you seem nervous or they think they smell alcohol, they will pull out every stop in the book to try to arrest you.
As a lawyer, my advice is to say, “Officer, I exercise my right to remain silent and not answer your questions.” Then, hold true to that throughout the stop.

Well I’ve learned that being nice can actually get you a warning instead of a ticket. Now if they’re rude to you then yes complain but if they’re just doing their job then just answer where you be been and stuff because it can mean the difference between money and just a warning. You can even lie and say you’ve been somewhere you really weren’t, freedom of speech anyways.

Always wondered about this one. One time I answered truthfully … "I'm coming from Wendys". He didn't believe me, so I showed him my soft drink cup. Really obnoxious. Gonna try that right to remain silent next time.

Maybe don't drink and drive and you wouldn't have to be afraid of being found out

Me: your mom’s house.
Cop: where are you headed?
Me: to your sisters house.
Cop: guess I had that coming.
Just say yes sir, no sir. Response should always be home to where your headed. Refusing to answer questions is just gonna make them press harder. Been pulled over 8 times never gotten a ticket being honest and respectful
I just got pulled over, tabs expired, I'm black and I politely said that I made a mistake for not taking care properly. He got my driver's, insurance and just a warning! Respect goes both ways. If you run your mouth and be a smart ass , it can cost you a big ticket. Simple as that

This fool tells people to do things that make them look suspicious. What a hole. If you take his advice you may get shot. Don't listen to this tool.
First,
only open your window about 1½" – 2" NO law requires you to roll down your window.
Second, do not answer questions. Simply say "I invoke my 5th ammendment right to remain silent. Don't ask me any more questions without my attorney present. Any questions will be a direct violation of my 5th ammendment right.
Third, ask for your citation then shut your mouth. Don't argue with the cops. YOU WILL LOOSE EVERY TIME !
Fight it in court.
Most important, always record the entire interaction… ALWAYS !!

Ok but if I'm 100% following the law, nothing remotely suspicious, driving home from work or whatever why should I care? Not being a smart ass, just wondering, why not just be polite and try to keep things smooth?
