There has been a second night of protests over the man kicked and stamped on by a police officer at Manchester Airport.

Videos online appeared to show a handful of demonstrators with their faces covered, throwing eggs at Rochdale police station on Thursday night.

The family of the man are particularly shocked by what happened because some of their family members are police officers, newly elected Rochdale Labour MP Paul Waugh said after speaking to them.

The footage, filmed at Manchester Airport’s terminal two on Tuesday, appeared to show an officer kick and stamp on the head of a man who was lying face down on the floor, with a woman kneeling beside him.

The video also appeared to show the officer strike a second man.

Ian Collins grills Akhmed Yakoob, lawyer of the Manchester Airport stamping victim, on what preceded the viral video that showed the incident.

“The police didn’t just turn up and suddenly jump on someone’s head, there must have been an incident!”

  1. What you may not be aware of this guy, Akhmed Yakoob stood up recently for the West Midlands region Mayor and lost to Labour candidate as it was a secure Conservative seat. Next the same guy stood up as an Independent candidate against the former young Muslim barrister, who was already the Labour MP, as its former Clare Short's seat, when she was in Labour party years ago. In both incidents in Birmingham, alot of thugs were driven for Akhmed Yakoob on the streets, that was never seen before. Both Shabana Mahmood and Jessica Phillips pulled off the voters for Labour again, yet these thugs need to be stopped!, now the same idiot, not knowing the facts of what actually occurred at Manchester Airport, jumped to his own conclusions, and was clearly driving a very serious hate crime. He was stirring up the Muslim community in Manchester and he needs to be barred for life, as a practising Solicitor. This is clear evidence against him, to be prosecuted and punished. A funny part, he gave away on media, what was he doing at the thugs home, sitting on the sofa, sitting in the middle of 2 thugs!, this is clear preach of SRA code, Solicitors cannot self claim to represent a client or clients, solicitors have to be contacted via their law firm and its their Head of department who decides, which Solicitor can take on the case. In this case, its very odd, that Akhmed Yakoob was coming out of the blue, representing thugs. SRA needs to look into this very seriously.

  2. I am not surprised, Akhmed Yaqoob the solicitor who may have self appointed himself to represent the criminals or thugs at this incident, should have been thinking twice about his career, if he still wants to be seen as a practising solicitor. Even with the full release of the video of the incident, "there is no smoke without fire", and in these incident, if the police officers were attacked by the thugs, its a duty of an police to take charge and punish the culprits!, shame on Akhmed Yakoob, someone should do a referral to the SRA immediately against him, as he was steering up hate

  3. This man’s explaination is unsound! The police came in doing their work! Imagine the Pakistan Police
training our police! Imagine Yahub knows what he is saying for effect! This community always seem to think they are in the right! Coming originally! from Pakistan they don’t understand law and order!

  4. The line of questioning is making excuses for this horrific act
    Twisting the audiences reality

    It is what is
Any racist implications must be investigated

  6. All i have seen is police finally fully exposed and the fraudulent news mafia conspiring to pervert the course of justice 👍🏽

  7. For every offence is a defence this is the Moto of the so called lawyer so I wouldn’t pay attention to what is going to say next!

  8. Just seen a report on BBC North West news of a teaching assistant kicking a 13 year old boy with special needs in the playground. The poor boy cannot speak. His mother noticed bruising all over his body. The CCTV footage is horrendous. The boy was on the ground curled up trying to stop the assault. This assault went on for 20 minutes. No demonstrating for this poor boy.

  9. I think he's play-acting a lawyer. No lawyer would behave the way he does. I don't know how anyone interviewing him can keep a straight face.

  10. Well….. he's been sacked since this 🤣🤣🤣 a cyst grows….it's not something that just appears through kicking

  11. This guy is no solicitor, if he is I suggest the people involved should get a new one, he not being honest and ignoring all the facts. Selective clips and selective memory, I’m sure there will be many more clips and a clearer picture will develop of what actually happened.

  12. Who's is this presenter ! Is he trying to make it bigger and variable.
    We !!!!!!!!!
    He is an imposter
