There doesn’t need to be an unlawful act or omission. It’s not a criminal offence per se. It’s a CIVIL wrong that is so bad (gross) as to amount to a crime.
these vids are great, but voice overs would really help! then people can have it on in the background or listen to it in bed, that really helps me!
You made a slight error in saying "It can be committed be either an act or omission but both have to be unlawful"- the main difference between gross negligence manslaughter and unlawful act manslaughter is the fact that there need not be an unlawful act committed for gross negligence.
These are great vids, helped me a lot.. would also be great if you could do a vid on self defence
