  1. Impeachment trials also don't follow any evidence rules or common rules that would be held in a criminal court. And if you're saying that you can't be tried unless you're already tried but unless you're already tried you can't be tried it's just so bad….

  2. There must be one or two enemy lawyers within the team. These lawyers don't deserve any penny. Trump should demand for compensation from them.
This can be solved by basic illogic…… Not even courts of law.

  3. How can a presidet be immune and justice are probihited to issue a claim against a former president? This applies only for dictators. Trump and Republicans should go behind bars!

  4. Trump wont have a clue whats going on all he'll hear is….. "Seal Team 6" " Assassination order" " The President".

  5. But the real reason why Trump brought this case is to delay the trials until after the election. In fact that's the ONLY reason.

  6. A SET UP would be a better description ? Pretty normal for New York Judiciary ? And they wonder why people are leaving ? 🤭

  7. The impeachment judgment clause does not say anything about the president being immune unless he is impeached. Trump's people love to cite things that actually say the opposite because they know his followers won't even bother to look it up. They can't fool the courts, though.

  8. Are Trump's lawyers giving aid and comfort to Trump, a traitor? Are they engaged in the insurrection themselves?

  9. Of course a president, or former president can be criminally charged.
It has happened before, and that's a good thing. I want the president to be a good guy, defending the laws, not breaking them.

This 'box of Pandora', as Trump points out, will never happen, because presidents tend to be acting on the good side of the law.

  10. SOOOOOO – If Trump does/did have total immunity as president then Joe Biden does too. 🤔
So since Biden has not yet been impeached ( which is why MAGA congress members are pushing impeachment) he could use the military to round up all suspected MAGA and imprison Trump and his family right now. He could call any and all opponents insurrectionists, and exact retribution with the stroke of a pen.
Oh wait, Trump has already promised to do that as soon as he has taken the oath of office again. Or not, since Trump still claims to be the current president so a second swearing in would not be needed.
If the courts side with Trump on total immunity today; then Biden could take out him and his entire support base with one executive or executive military order within a minute of that court decision. Just as Trump promised to do. 🤔
Basically, Trump or Biden could institute "The Purge" or " Designated Survivor" movie as a presidential duty using an executive order and not be held acountable for it. EVER! 😱
And everyone knows this, and no one is using this as a taking point. 🤔🤯
    Except Trump.

  11. Donnie's lawyers have it made. Donnie doesn't expect to win in Court…just as long as he gets to create lies and wild fantasies for Fox News for why he lost that's important.

  12. If the judges allowed the absolute immunity clause, imagine the situation if Biden, after losing the election, not before he leaves the office, orders Seal Team Six to assassinate his successor, signs the pardon for the ST6 members and leaves office before he can be impeached. Perfect untouchable crime that cannot be prosecuted

  13. weird, i've known for quite some time that the morals of most conservatives is hypocritical BS. this Sauer guy buys into this rhetoric with such passion he thought he could make a compelling argument of hypocrisy to an appeals court? what a waste of time. fine these fools.

  14. It’s interesting to me that Trump was running for president for years going back all the way to the year 2000 and no one took him serious. Even to the point where he was mocked on MadTv. The very fact that he is a very serious political candidate not only amongst the general population, but even in government tells me how degraded we have become.

  15. Trump's speciality is playing both ends against the middle, so as to always be on the right side of an issue. This was a self-own, but Trump is too narcissistic to grasp that.

  16. A president can't commit treason against the United States and have immunity. Treason is a death sentence!

Biden's inaction to provide the United States with a defense against foreign invasion caused the loss of life of tens of thousands of Americans.
Biden's inaction is aiding foreign invasion.
    That is Treason!

  17. Since the point of the appeal is simply to buy time? The particular merits here may not be the right measure.
