One of this cases defendants profited from illegal personal payments from foreign governments to his company and himself, while in office, to the tune of tens and tens of millions of dollars. In all seriousness the total costs of Ms Willis's case to Georgia is a small fraction of very similar investigations elsewhere, about half the cost of Jack Smith's case.
