  1. No matter how many times I’ve heard you present this information in your book, club meetings, seminars and webinars the best advice is just because you can doesn’t mean it’s the best solution. You hit the nail on the head.

  2. As a CWL and firearm instructor, I spend a lot of time trying to explain these to folks. Avoidance and De-escalation are always the best options because when it comes to trial it is almost always going to be a coin toss… How good is the prosecutor, how good is your defense lawyer, what are the political beliefs of the judge, jury and DA. I also spend a lot of time talking about how a firearm is a like a hammer, it's a tool that is perfect for certain situations but only some situations. Just because it will work doesn't mean that it's the best tool. Then I talk about pepper spray and martial arts. The bottom line is that a firearm is a tool of last resort and no matter how justified you are, the experience is more than likely going to be long, painful and expensive. Thanks for this video! Excellent as always!

  3. Statutes are NOT written to make it easy for an ordinary law-abiding citizen to understand and obey. Then, at the end of the day, Case Law is what the legal system goes to and which the average citizen has no access to. The odds are stacked against law-abiding citizens.
