  1. Amen, to everything, Scott! Lately, I feel like the gov has gone back to pre-revolutionary days, the way they violate the rights of citizens.
And as far as AB is concerned, I'm not only sick and tired of him, but I'm sick and tired of hearing claims that the rules don't apply to Hollywood elites.
I don't give a rat's you-know-what that production companies hire expert armorers, or that the Actor's Guild says actors aren't required to know about the guns they handle. He's a human being who shot another human being to death. He has a responsibility as a human being to exercise the utmost caution…the same caution that is required of anyone else, when handling a firearm.
He's also a citizen of the USA, and subject just like anyone else to the laws of this country. Becoming an actor, does not exclude anyone from the consequences of violating our laws.
I'm glad the state of NM, decided to move forward with the prosecution. Let's just hope that the jurors don't have stars in their eyes, but that they make their decision on the facts and the law.

  2. Haha! Best dumb criminal ever! 😂
Yes, the constitution does matter…. Thanks for telling it like it is, Scott.

  3. As a point of interest in the Baldwin saga, I just timed it – it takes forty seconds to check and verify that a Colt SAA loaded with dummy rounds is, in fact, loaded with dummy rounds and not something more calamitous. The SAA is a very slow gun to check, load or clear (in fact, that lack of speed is what motivated the US army artillery to ask for a more modern sidearm shortly after 1900, resulting in the eventual development and adoption of the 1911 auto). Forty seconds is a long time to wait for every actor who's handed a gun to fiddle around checking it himself. While checking is appropriate for us out in the real world, one can perhaps appreciate why a film crew might find it worthwhile to streamline the procedure.

  4. Scott, would it be beneficial for prosecutor's to have MANY other's, especially other actors, testify to checking weapons on movie sets? And doesn't Alex Baldwin have more responsibilities being a producer of the film? And would the fact many quit the job because of poorly managed set be an issue? And why would Alex only serve 18months to two years for this shooting resulting in death? So many other "accidents" serve more time.
    Thanks Scott 🙏

  5. I acted in a community theatre in a small blue collar town in Michigan which never had an audience above 200 audience members. We used a gun that fired blanks and we were all given basic gun safety instructions.

  6. No, I don't laugh Scott when you talk about the 4th Amendment and the Bill of Rights in general of our Constitution. They're as important now as they were then, in my opinion. So, thanks again for the reminder. You do good work, Scott. Thank you.

  7. I agree the parents didn’t commit the crime, however, they did cross the line when then bought the gun. That is the crime. I am a firm second amendment supporter but my responsibility to my kids safety supersedes my right to own a firearm. When they became older I removed by items from my home. Their safety came first

  8. The FBI got away with it. All they got was scolded and they laughed all the way back to the office.
No one fired, no one went to jail. They won't destroy the records or return the stolen merchandise.
    Oh no! They're on notice!
    That'll teach 'em!
This all means nothing and they will do it again anytime they feel like it.

  9. Yes! 💯 agree regarding that SDB case. Absolutely infuriating it didn’t get any attention. Tgank you for your steadfast stance on our core values. Without our Bill of Rights, we’re not a country. 🤘🇺🇸🤘

  10. As a parent of three, I get that parents don’t know what their kids are doing all the time. BUT, Crumbley told his parents he was hearing voices! He told them more than once. They blew him off and told him to take a pill. They never looked into any help for him. Thats negligence, unfortunately people died because of it. I’m grateful my kids are grown and have their own children. I tell to pay attention to what their kids are doing online. I know kids can hide their activities, but when a child asks for help, it’s the parents responsibility to help them. I liken it to ignoring a child with a fever and they die from not getting the medical help.

  11. Will you be covering the 3 friends that died under mysterious circumstances in Kansas City, Mo a few days ago after attending a chiefs watch party?

  12. I d got mixed feelings about the Crumbley’s. No – parents aren’t responsible for everything their teens do. This was pretty egregious, though. It wasn’t your normal parental lapse and had to do with a specific situation – not their parenting in general.

  13. The school noticed and informed the parents and if he is under 18. it’s his parent. They were snotty and did not check into their child to see if there really was an issue.

  14. It’s that they were told to come to the school and take the Don out of school due to his behavior. They claimed that the child had nothing wrong with him and they would not take him and would not take him to mental health help and left him at the school.

  15. Anyone who has had teenagers knows you can’t always sense things because they come about slowly and parents see them every day. Also, no matter how hard parents try to stay on top of everything in their teens’ lives, they learn tips and tricks all the time from friends and friends’ older siblings to outwit mom and dad. Teens are pulling away from parents and toward peers at that stage of life. Rules feel like jail to them no matter how much you try to tell them it’s to keep them healthy and safe. And they rarely want to tell parents if they’re being bullied or don’t have friends because of embarrassment and fear of parents getting involved and making things worse. Seriously, it does take a village, not just parents. If you prosecute the parents, better line up the whole village like Scott says.

  16. What do you all think of Crumb;ey's defense attorney? Yikes, IMO she's unhinged. She defended pedophile Larry Nassar, after the trial she said she had a hard time believing his victims. SMH! As a matter of fact the neighbors of the Crumbley's did report them to authorities. Nothing the government or it's agencies do surprises me…NOTHING!
