1) Never open your door for the police. If the police have a proper warrant signed and dated by a judge with the specifics to be searched for then the police will knock down the door. No Cop with a warrant asks for permission to enter.

When they mention exceptions it means violating the 4th Amendment legally because the courts have given their consent, the wording of the 4th is very specific and no exceptions are listed
