At the start of court Monday morning, John Melnick, the former attorney for Kenneth “Lil Woody” Copeland, spoke about the transcripts of two controversial ex-parte meetings. Attorney Melnick said he was accused of working with Young Thug’s attorney Brian Steel and attorney Max Schardt, which he said was “untrue.” The attorney also discussed his client Lil Woody pleading the fifth and the immunity.

  1. We seem to have a run lately of prosecutors and some (but not all judges) who have zero respect for truth, integrity, and fairness. It’s all about winning at all costs and the end justifies the means. I’m looking at you Ms. Prosecutor from the Baldwin case. I’m looking at you Lally and you Aunty Bev from the Karen Read trial.

Just wondering how many other criminal court cases (that involve these same unethical players) had the same shenanigans going on but haven’t come to light because they weren’t televised.

  2. 31:10 And there she goes objecting before the question is even finished being asked. If the trial is just not going your way, it's not going your way, and you may just need to pack it up.

Edit: Think of the jury sitting at home "NOT" watching this and going we really have to go back to this bs come wednesday?

  3. She needs to go they needs to eject this judge and the prosecution team they are tainted bring in special special judge and prosecution no matter what they aren't getting a fair trial and nomatter what shady stuff they due she will not have a miss trial if they win they will win a new trial on an appeal this is a hot mess and when it's over they will have some firing and maybe some criminal charges for official prosecutor misconduct

  4. The prosecutor is cooked. She has nothing she’s trying to make up something y’all gave woody immunity after that meeting y’all are cooked. Stop trying to make up stuff that’s not there

  5. I have NEVER seen anything like this, in my entire life. This is like watching AMATEUR HOUR(S). SMH

  6. Mr Steele is trying hard to get this case dismissed!! He thought he had something but didn’t have nothing!!

Ms Bumpus was out of her league… she is an injury attorney.. she shouldn’t have disclosed anything.. Ms Bumpus is very unprofessional..

I believe Ms Bumpus talked to Melnick and he told the Defense attorney and that’s when the Defense attorney went to Bumpus

  7. Is it possible the prosecution is actually trying to get the YSL trial thrown out (mistrial) on purpose or are they this incompetent, the corruption is obvious but the prosecution has no professionalism & NO ethical standards at all, they made their own rules at start of the case with no regards to the law.

  8. Them boys going to jail they’re defense attorneys doing all this to setup appeals to make more money after they get found guilty just watch how the def attorneys start the same thing with this judge n it won’t work

  9. I was wondering when the forced immunity came into the picture. It came in when Copeland's attorney told them he wasn't going to testify. So they made him.

  10. Miss Love thinks she's got a Perry Mason moment with the email exhibits, but all she is doing is showing how her incompetence

  11. Prosecution and defense are of notably different intellectual and moral capacities. Now Glanvill has gone Ms Love has no-one colluding with her and she's out on a limb. She's a bad prosecutor like Glanvill was a bad and biased judge. (That is besides the rights and wrongs of the case and the crimes.)
No matter what the prosecution cannot just arrange things in any case so they get the result they want. Even though guilty people sometimes go free, it is important that people's rights to defense are respected . What they did with regards to Woody was totally unethical no matter what kind of person he is or what crimes he may have committed.

  12. This judge is beginning to strike me as incompetent at best, and corrupt at worst. She sure seems to giggle alot. Doesn't seem to care about the rule of law
