So why isn’t it double jeopardy when they try to put trump on trial for Jan 6th ? Didn’t he basically go through a trial when they tried to impeach him for it , and he was found not guilty ?!?!? Someone please explain.
They can bring him to court for the same crime if new evidence has been found
If a trial has been ruled to have been invalid, why wouldn’t that fact over-ride the double jeopardy issue? Double jeopardy requires a verdict that stands.
