Did you know this negotiation secret? A simple yet powerful negotiation tactic that can be applied in law AND in other negotiation scenarios is using specific or “odd” numbers instead of round numbers. Especially in the legal space, so many lawyers are accustomed to rounding negotiations to the nearest thousand, hundred thousand, million, etc. However, picking a more specific number (like $512,000 as opposed to $500,000) subconsciously tells the other side that you’ve been meticulous in coming up with your number — you’re not just throwing out some random amount. Questions? Let me know in the comments or send me a DM, I’m happy to help! ⚖️💪🏻🚀

  1. "Choose an odd number"
Decides to use a number with more factors of 2 than every other number in this video combined.

  2. One sales technique I was taught was if you tell a customer the absolute lowest I can go is $2000 dollar they won't believe you. But if you look in your computer spend a few minutes and tell them the absolute lowest I can go is $2134.17 they will believe you that it is an exact hard lowest price.
