There is some reporting that Iran has demanded a permanent ceasefire in Gaza or they will directly attack Israel. If true, this may be the real reason behind this drawback.
Resistance movements like Hamas and Taliban can never be eliminated, Israel is wasting its time and energy on doing all this.
