Christopher Gregor is on trial in New Jersey for child endangerment and murder after his 6-year-old son Corey died in 2021. Two weeks before Corey’s death, Gregor allegedly forced him to run at high speeds on a treadmill, despite the young falling numerous times. However, the defense argues Gregor did not abuse his son and that the child’s death was actually caused by sepsis. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber breaks down opening statements in Gregor’s trial, as well as testimony from Corey’s mother about what happened in the days before he died.

This kid never stood a chance. Mom was a young, selfish drug addict and dad is an abusive psychopath. If the court had any sort of heart and truly cared for the well-being of the child then the grandmother would have been awarded primary custody. Mom & dad should have gotten temporary visitation.

I first heard of this from TikTok the other day and seen some comments about the bear, are we sure what’s happening in other places like where the b4 movement is happening is completely different from our world yes some men are bad but it’s not always the case my sister in law is the worst person I have ever met she has five kid one about a year old now maybe I don’t even know the baby dosnt have custody because she worried about her drugs and boyfriend who has contact with the kids who’s causing problems for the boys and it kills me why are they allowing them to have contact she doesn’t care she acts like she does
NO 6 year old child is choosing to 'work out' 'hang out' in the gym and mess around but NOT working out… give me a break he's a degenerate. Look at this guy trying to make like he's sad or broken.. he's a killer

I feel bad for the mother here. She was struggling with addiction got past it just to loose her son. It’s not fair.
I am confused by the timeline. She had him at 17, 23 when he died. Yet she says she was in her early 20's when she was high all the time……she is STILL in her early 20's.
Also, she took the boy to several docs before taking him to dads? Doc said he had sepsis and she still returned him?

I watch and follow many trials, some even for murdered kids….but this one for some reason I can’t stomach. My sweet son is 5 and the photos of Cory’s smiling face and the videos of what his dad is making him do just nauseates me. Why and how did this monster come into his child’s life at FIVE and gain full physical custody??? I can’t stand hot headed narcissistic pathetic parents like HIM
