  1. If he is innocent, (maybe 2% chance) I would expect him to do just what he is doing. Unless he can show the brothers acted on their own, he is totally ruined. The only reason I think there might be some possibility of this is because it was so poorly done. Smollet doesn't seem like a stupid man and this plan was incredibly stupid. The brothers doing it to show Smollet he needed to pay them for extra security seems more plausible than him doing it to get a raise. I don't really see how this would have gotten him a raise. If he is guilty, he should have quietly gone home and stayed there for about a year. Sort of like Keven Spacy. I'm ready to forgive Spacy and let him get back to work. I want him to redo the last season of house of cards. He can use the money to pay off his victims. Jussie did not hire the dream team to defend him. He should have hired you or me.

  2. When you make exceptions to the sentence because of his celebrity status, then the system is inherently corrupt!

  3. Agreed…he has set back the legal challenges for true hate crime victims.
For him to claim the lynch rope as evidence is repulsive…because it was a lie.
How can an African American USE the horrific history of lynching African Americans for his own gain?
    I’m sickened by Señor Smollet.

  4. Just found your channel and watched a few videos, enjoyed the clear eyed perspective you provided on these cases. Thanks and sub'd, I will be back for more.

  5. I wonder when “ celebs” will get the message that people are sick of their pontificate rubbish.Their views, and opinions are wanted or needed, don’t from your mansions, millions in the bank earning your living pretending to be somebody else don’t go on air weeping saying sorry for-being racist, ,not paying women same rates, take the knee for a man who held a gun to a pregnant woman’s stomach, telling people how to vote. Etc etc, SHUT UP 🤐 we don’t care and you just loook like a bunch of jumping on the bandwagon woke snowflakes. I wonder how many of the cry babies have had a look at their “ performance “ on social media about the idiot and cringed about how they’ve made complete twats of themselves??🤮🤪🤣😂

  6. He needs to go jail time even if it is one week. This was a racist lie That could have started riots etc. like you said he put real race issues back years. He needs to be made an example of do people think twice s pug pulling something like this ever again.

  7. 5 counts , guilty, 1 count, not guilty. Doesn't each count carry 3 yrs? So he could be looking at 15 years? The man could have sparked hates crimes across the country with his lying.

  8. How can Stupid be in one body? What kind of parents teach this kid. He gives a bad name to blacks and gay men. What a Summers Eve. Say goodbye to any jobs on Tv. You will be lucky to be a greeter at Walmart. You might as well start knitting scarves and sell it online. No one cares to see your lying face.

  9. I think it is good that Jussie did this and got caught. I disagree that the biggest problem with this is that it means real victims of hate crimes will not be believed. I think that is inane considering just how seriously allegations of hate crimes are treated. Your argument is like saying "it's terrible that women falsely report rape, it means real victims will find it harder to be believed", when what you SHOULD be worried about is the welfare of the poor bastard that she falsely accused.

What the crime and verdict DOES mean is that in future, hoaxers are more likely to be treated with the critical thinking that is appropriate.

Let's face it, the only reason you are criticising Jussie is that "he was not believed", and yet you are now saying this is some sort of disaster? In order to ascertain who "the genuine victims" are, it is NECESSARY to be sceptical.

  10. Could you imagine if like a father and son wearing maga hats were walking down the street during that time, and he had orchestrated it better? Their lives would be ruined and they'd likely be murdered in prison all because of Jussie. He needs to go to jail for what he tried to do to innocent people. We can all laugh or point out how dumb he is, or we can talk about how he might hurt future hate crimes, but the man legitimately tried to end the lives of two random Chicago citizens that night and he needs to suffer for it so other people with his mindset think twice before doing it.
