That little comment about identification made of the officer is going to put him in front of a federal judge on constitutional rights violations…..
If no criminal action is involved there is no legal need to identify…..
It doesn't matter what the officer thinks it should be it's what the law says it is…
And the Constitution overrides any policies that might exist with various departments….
Upholding the fourth amendment is not impeding your investigation….

idiots dont understand that RaS is all the police need to detain a person and ID them.
They say suspicion is not enough but then they ask what the RaS the police have yet with RaS the s stands for suspicion…..also their could be suspicion of several different things, so they don't have to specify what exact crime the police have suspicion on.

There is no such thing as "regardless" when it comes to people not committing crimes. If they haven't done anything wrong, then they do not need to give their IDs. Simple as that.
