It is amazing how police are required to periodically train, test, and recertify on weapons use, driving, and self-defense, but there are no such requirements to periodically learn and test on the laws they enforce.

Qualified immunity gives police force incentives to hire anyone, especially the unqualified, evil, damaged, and vengeful officers. This in turn is intentional harm and abuse to citizens.

I work in IT, no lives at risk, and I have forced monthly/yearly re-training for things just so I don't screw up the companies network… these guys carry a gun and arrest people.
