  1. "Is this Bruce Hornsby?"

    "Yup…"

"Does he know he stole it?"

"I don't think so, let him enjoy it."

    "Can we get sued?"

"Not sure…*The Way It Is chorus*… Yeah, they got us." 🤣😂

  2. The little meta-joke there is that Donald Glover constantly gets asked, or did early in his career, if he's related to Danny (he isn't), so having Troy make the claim that he is related pokes at that fact.

Jeff's speech works because his reasoning is pretty unassailable. It's hard to deny either his evidence or the conclusions he draws from it. From an evolutionary perspective, maladaptive behaviour like Britta's self-sabotage is, well, maladaptive, and therefore about as much the opposite of the genetic imperative that drives every other known form of life as you can get. That's as close to "insane" as science is likely to give you.

  3. Jeff's speech didn't really work. He just knew that Duncan was trying to get with Britta like they established at the beginning of the episode. So Jeff gave him a chance to charge Britta with weekly visits to his office (as a psychologist, of course) instead of expulsion.

  4. I'm glad to see the Community reactions return!

8:29 Yep, this show is crazy… crazy good!
“If you want to rehabilitate your fellow inmate then you need to sentence her to staying here with us because if crazy people can't be at Greendale then where are we supposed to go?” — Jeff
