One interesting takeaway from Charlie is his conviction that he never had a chance against a dishonest, unfair prosecution team headed by Georgia C. with her folksy local accent, supported by friendly Tallahassee jurors. Did the Adelson group try to get a change of venue? I assume Donna A. will do anything to avoid being tried anywhere in Leon County, viewed as run by mobs of ignorant yokels toting pitchforks and torches. Does anyone know whether getting a venue change is difficult to accomplish?
