23. What about legal incompetence ? I can’t find where Dan has ever done murder case – there was some evidence that seems like it shouldn’t come in for Charlie’s case plus times was surprised he didn’t object etc – seems like Dan handles white collar crimes— was this his first murder trial?

25. I want the Markels to sue the Adelsons for every single red cent they have so that Charlie, Donna & hopefully, Wendy, will have no choice but to have a public defender assigned to them. I know that their money cannot bring the Markels their precious son Danny back. But too, hopefully they will also gain full & complete custody of his sons, Ben & Lincoln, change their last name back to what it should be – their father’s last name – MARKEL, and also give the family name back to one of the sons that evil, manipulating narcissist Wendy robbed of him. I know that they’re young teens now, but prayerfully the Markels will be able to provide them with a loving, supportive, and healthy family environment that Wendy & the Adelsons stole from them. 26. No amount of money can explain this away. It's over. Charlie's defense was so bad, and even if you fully believe him, you're left with him only being not guilty by a technicality. According to Charlie, he hated Dan, made jokes about hiring a hitman, and paid off Dan's killers, but TECHNICALLY he's not guilty because, according to him, he didn't actually ask them to kill Dan. It's almost shocking to me hearing him on the phone calls going over how well he thinks he did on the stand, and how the jurors were biased. He really can't take a step back and see how unhinged his defense is.

    appeal, that they didn’t have good grounds. Hope this lawyer is not

31. I know Charlie thinks he did well on the stand but his cockiness, smart alecky responses and obvious lies did him no favors. The extortion story was all he had but it was so full of holes that his lies couldn’t fill, the jury just couldn’t go with it. But an experienced appeals attorney can fill in those holes and convince a judge that Charlie wasn’t given a fair shake. Problem with that is overcoming chatty Charlie’s jailhouse calls where he talks himself into a corner over and over again. Stay tuned, folks. It ain’t over yet.

34. With all the overwhelming evidence against Charlie I believe that his only chance to have received an acquittal, would be to have found a jury that would believe his extortion theory. Like having 12 red hatters for his jury, then score their cult leader a few bucks to announce that he believes every word that Charlie is telling.
