  1. If they can’t be forced to do dangerous chores, then working on a car wouldn’t be legal.

  2. If they can’t be forced to do dangerous chores, then working on a car wouldn’t be legal.

  3. see mom! Im not legally allowed to wash the dishes it’s dangerous, the glass may get in my ey-

  4. I can't take out the trash bc car can hit me while doing this 😘😅😆

  5. So in theory a guy can have like 4 kids and make them work for him in his business for jk pay for like a long time , and they can’t quit or get vacation

  6. im 21 and i need to get the fuck out these people are dependent on me in an unhealthy way

  7. One could argue that putting ur entire body underneath a 4000 lb car, could be considered dangerous… especially at uncle pops car repair shop.

  8. As someone who works for my Dad's gutter business, I'm making money so i don't give a shit🤑🤑🤑🙏🙏🙏🙏

  9. "well that was a close one. Im already a mechanic, a cashier, a roofer, a tower light bulb changer, a truck driver, a logger, and a linemen"

  10. If they make you work for business interests, they should pay you the equivalent of your labour.

  11. Technically parents can't FORCE you to do chores, you're not legally required to follow your parents orders, but they can legally punish you by taking your Xbox away

  12. Yeah, the problem is there are parents that take their kids out of school and "homeschool" which has almost no oversight (which means they don't have to teach you anything) and force them to work in the family business 16 hours a day. There is a cult coffee shop ran by a group in manitou CO that does exactly that. The police have investigated them multiple times b/c the kids have fresh bruises regularly but it has been deemed as not enough evidence. Since the kids don't go to school they have no way to directly complain and are controlled 24/7 by the abusing cult. The cult is called The Twelve Tribes if you want to look them up.

  13. Well, an oil change COULD be considered dangerous, if you don't have the proper training, you could argue he could have gotten hurt with say hot oil.

So where is the line drawn?

  14. I gave my brother the chore to put his plates in the sink……he’s seven and he gives me the plate instead 😭

  15. If them kids could mine Coal at 13 years old I can do it. Y'all just looking for excuses to be weak😂

  16. The business one sucks if you think abt it they can make you work with no way if they really wanted to

  17. So washing the dishes are illegal because i get stabbed by forks, knives, and broken dishes

  18. Therefore no oil changing god dammit, the car can fall, pil could get everywhere, somthing coukd breka and mahbe you get covered in gas, overall, that is NOT a chore for a kid

  19. washing the dishes is very dangerous
what if you spill water on the floor then slip
it could lead to a very serious concussion

  20. I am a minor who works one of the most dangerous jobs in the world, farming. I love it.

  21. Dangerous? Well I worked on my parents farm from age 8-17… The amount of times I was nearly ran over, smoshed by bales, biten by snakes, ticks, almost kicked by cow, almost ran over by cows, amount of electrical shocks I achieved due to false information, having my arm into a cow [mental trauma]… How much can I sue my parents?
