  1. "Chilling" is a little over the top. Perhaps a better description would be "lacking remorse", "emotionally inept", or "out of touch with reality".

  2. This Scares me every day ;( this is a Nightmare! I just don’t get how his parents would buy him a gun of any sort ;( Broken Hearts and Broken Dreams;( , may all the families who lost their loved one’s know a lot of people are struggling with this as well and our prayers are with you. I’m so glad he will never walk the streets again because I don’t believe that he would do better for himself or the community, I do however hope that he finds God in all of this

  3. I have never heard a more eloquent speech from a judge ever….I commend him for thinking of not only the victims…but the other kids and families who will be affected by his crime for pretty much the rest of their lives ….these people have to pay the ultimate price for their actions and this judge got it right!!!! ❤❤❤ The worst part is that this defendant not only wasn't bullied or hurt by anyone…he just wanted notoriety…so sick for these parents……

  4. Great job Judge Rae Lee Chabot. Thank you for your honor in doing your job with the utmost respect for all involved. It's great to see a judge in action who puts forth 100 percent of their full attention. Thank you, America appreciates you! Prayers and healing thoughts for all touched by this evil act. 🙏❤️🕊️

  5. Judge Clifton Newman who preceded the Murdaugh case that's what you call a real judge. He is the pinnacle of American judges balanced , calm professional and fair. This youngster of a judge has a lot to learn.

  6. This judge African American let his emotions get to him we all know that crumbly ar some point has the right to a time limited sentence because he is a minor and this judge totally disregarded that. The kid was more sincere in his speech he took full responsibility and made no excuses. This judge is an utter disgrace very unprofessional he clearly has minority complexes. Judges should not let their emotions get to them.

  7. This is what a proper sentencing sounds like. No, you will not get 25yrs or life with a possibility of parol at 25 yrs, as I’ve garnered from reading between the lines of his statement to the court and victims. I’m glad he will not see the outside of a prison again for his natural life. A real POS. My condolences to the families who were affected by his actions.

  8. These kids killing students.. its horrible. What is also horrible is the fact that these kids will never get the help they need. Red flags are out there when very young. More help andxresources are needed

  9. I don’t understand how people are somehow arguing about politics in this comment section… this is not the place for that bs. Show some respect to the victims of this violence.

  10. Were Ethan's parents allowed to be at his sentencing? I feel a lot of anger towards them as well. He told him he was having hallucinations and that he needed help And they go out and buy him a gun for funzies? The kid obviously deserved the sentence he got. But I just can't help but think about how different everyones lives could have been if he had different parents.

  11. This is what happens when people are allowed to act out on their feelings, losing your temper, lashing out or any of this sort isn’t acceptable in any walk of life. Without control over emotions this is the result
