They had fines to pay yet had to work for free forty hours a week for me . Most had families and obligations with no way to keep them . They were in a hamster wheel .

27. I have NEVER been able to get a hearing about my ability to ever pay fines. I have lost my driver's license, my child, my vehicle, my career etc. And it's all for traffic tickets that I couldn't afford to pay. Part of it is on me for not taking care of them whenever it happened. But there should be a fairly simple process in place to verify the indigent…
