Hopefully parents are making better efforts to keep guns secure.
Not a fan of putting a child in prison for life, he needs mental health help. He clearly was asking for help since before the shootings.
Every comment i read on channels with trial coverage absolutely cant stand the defense attorney or the judge!

the stable owner testifying against her client frankly gave me a bad vibe. She was far too jocular and happy as she threw her former client under the bus. And then admitted that she agreed to purchase the woman's horses, and then waited until she missed a stable payment and then just confiscated them. That's low.
As for JC, she came across as very abrasive and cold in the police interview, though I hardly could understand what they were saying as the audio was so bad.
I do think the fact that the parents didn't even bother to take the cable lock out of the packaging is reason for charges. That to me is negligence. otoh, I don't care how much time JC spent with her horses. Parents having a life and activities of their own is not a crime. But allowing EC to have an unsecured gun? Whether they thought he was disturbed or not, that negligence resulted in the deaths of 4 children.
I think Jennifer is innocent. The school did not send Ethan home. The councillor was incompetent. The school is being sued and rightfully so.
If illogically convicted, this would be the first case to set precedence which means Michigan may become the most dangerous place on earth for parents to have families and raise children! (Who could legally afford to be parents in Michigan?) You can forget about foster parents taking chances with less-fortunate kids…! A new law would destroy countless families by association only benefitting the legal system!…
