Article 40.4 of Bunreacht na hÉireann provides that “no citizen shall be deprived of his personal liberty save in accordance with law”.
In this animation video, i examine the arrest and detention in the Irish Criminal law.
In a nutshell : arrest and the reasonable suspicion, citizen’s arrest , Garda Siochana arrest without a warrant arrest, entering a premises without a warrant to arrest a suspect, and the arrest without valid ground or justifications.
In the second part of the video, i go thru the suspect rights on arrest and during detention in addition to the possibility to challenge the detention – Habeas Corpus – before the high court.

Well sounds like Ireland law pressume guilty first until proven innocent just because the police suspect someone and then arrest the suspect even without physical evidence
Bullshit lies.. It doesn't happen that way. It happens this way. Walking the street minding you business. Police car pulls up 3 cop's get out and within 2 min your taken to the ground assault while on the ground then bundled into the car arriving at police station assaulted again, then again striped naked left in cell for hours, falsely changed , releast, went to court judge throws case out, police falsely change dates and judge sees it but does nothing only throws case out.. No charges for lieing police and no discipline either, now that's the truth not your lies.
