Are you a pet lover? My friend, make sure your pets do not pose a danger to others, as the owner may be subject to imprisonment. Based on Article 336, it is explained that anyone who:
a. disturbs an animal in a way that endangers others;
b. disturbs an animal that is being ridden or an animal pulling a cart, carriage, or load;
c. fails to prevent an animal under their care from attacking a person or another animal;
d. fails to properly control a wild animal under their care; or
e. keeps a dangerous wild animal without reporting it to the competent authority,
shall be punishable by imprisonment for a maximum of 6 (six) months or a fine of up to Category II, Rp10,000,000.00 (ten million Indonesian Rupiah).
