At the beginning of the defense’s opening statement, an attorney representing Alec Baldwin said the actor did not commit any crime and was only doing his job as an actor. Alex Spiro argued that the individuals tasked with safety protocols on set and firearm maintenance, including Baldwin’s armorer, neglected their duties.

Famed actor and movie producer Alec Baldwin was indicted on one count of involuntary manslaughter in January for the death of 42-year-old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Hutchins died on Baldwin’s “Rust” movie set. Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for Hutchins’ death. She was sentenced to 18 months in prison.

Alec voted for a man whom doesn;t pay for his or his son's crimes, so why should he? Also, he voted against guns and that all Americans should not own guns. So why did they put one in his hand and force him to do that? Biden would and will pardon him.

More than half of these opinions about his “guilt” or “innocence” are strictly based on politics and that he’s not fond of Trump. If you don’t believe me then just do a poll. This is not how our justice system works and politics or despising a man/woman should play no part in the interest of justice.
Trying to conflate fiction with reality is not going to work. The defense does not have a leg to stand on.
Defense council was looking at his notes more than the jury and speaking a little rushed.
Mr Baldwin is not an actor Im interested in, BUT, hes not responsible for what happened, it IS A TRAGIC ACCIDENT,
Armourer, not much of one, But, the buck stops with her only.
( if you were given a car to drive, & the brakes Failed, is that the Responsibility of the person given the car, or responsibility of person Providing the car?)
What about the fact that a dozen people had just quit that morning because of safety issues???

Baldwin's attorney is not as great as he thinks he is. He claim Baldwin is an actor playing actor. However, baldwin is the one who pointed and pulled the trigger on a gun that cause the death of young lady. What he did was reckless disregard that Baldwin has never shown any remorse. Claiming it on the armorer is foolish and without sound merit. Baldwin was the person who painted and pulled the trigger.
