  1. The Great Ace Attorney games are actually prequels, taking place more than a 100 years before the PW OG trilogy. Lucah, you gotta play them ASAP. A lot of people consider them to be the best in the series, including myself!

  2. Phoenix went on a vacation and ended up overthrowing a theocratic totalitarian regime over the course of a week while aiding a Guerrilla group.
    Based.

  3. This was another great game! I’m shocked another installment with these characters hasn’t happened in a decade!
(There was the Layton cross over and Great AA games but nothing with these characters?)
Hopefully now that almost all the games have been ported/remade hopefully we get a new game soon. I am here for an all girls cast!

The entire series has such great characters, I want to see them all!

  4. Now that all of the secrets are revealed I can say I absolutely hate Amara. It makes no sense why she allowed Ga'ran to wreck havoc and destroy her family. She supposedly did it to protect country from chaos but seen as there was a lot of injustice and country was on the brink of rebellion for years it's such bs. Amara is as guilty as her sister for pain caused to Rafa and Nayuta and whole country

  5. Congrats on finishing the main story of Spirit of Justice

I have seen an article when the Apollo Justice Trilogy was released saying that the creator of the series has more plans for Apollo in the future of the series. People joked that they'll give Apollo another backstory, but I'm still excited to see what they do with this series in the future.

Enjoy the DLC case that's a blast from the past!

  6. I can hear the Sex Pistols playing God Save the Queen at Ga’ran outside the Hall of Justice to send her up after her dethroning cos I played that song right after this video!

    “God save the Queen!
The fascist regime! They (Phoenix and Apollo) made you a moron! Potential H-bomb! God Save the Queen! She ain’t no human being! There is no future…in Khura’in’s drrrreaming! (To the Khura’inian people) Don’t be told w-w- what you want and d-don’t be told w-w-what you need! There’s no future, no future! No future for you! (To Ga’ran)

  7. The costumes will change the costume at all times. It will change your costume the first time through a case as well

  8. "Does that happen later"
No, it doesn't. This is the last game in the main series so far, so we have no idea. Can't spoil what doesn't exist. The only games left are the Great Ace Attorney games, which has a completely different cast. It's not related to the main series. Thalassa telling Apollo and Trucy is something that only time will tell if they actually do.

  9. yes the final game in the series (thus far) is the Great Ace Attorney, which is two games sold in one package, actually. ANd there is indeed a DLC for Spirit of Justice, Turnabout TIme Traveller.

and yes the DLC costumes will work for ALL of the episodes, including Tunrbaout TIme Traveller. So if you wanna put them on you can and they should appear in the game c:

  10. you know one thing i think they should've done was have Maya channel Dhurke so he could speak to amara and nahyuta and apollo one mroe time and face off against Garan alongside Apollo.

it's actually a huge shame we didn't see more of amara like dealing with the fact she betrayed her husband AND being betrayed by her own sister…

Still, its pretty fun how Apollo gets to be the one to face Garan, especialy in the face of the fact that she murdered his dad and ruined the life of his adoptive dad and brother. Also now he has two sisters, kinda sorta.

  11. Ace Attorney the game series where you wonder can this new game be better than the previous titles and the answer is somehow always yes.

  12. I like how Phoenix's ending speech after Apollo says he's staying is the exact same sentiment Klavier and the Judge used to tell Kristoph he'd lost, except this time with a positive tone. Apollo Justice Trilogy coming full circle.

  13. Depending on how you look at it, you have 1 or 2 games to play, still.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles consist of two prequel games set in the year of 1900, Adventures & Resolve, which tell a single large narative.

And if you're still craving Attorney gameplay…
    I know of a little-known indi game that I can't recommend enough.
Trust me & look up Attorney of the Arcne, you'll be surprised.

  14. "I couldn't think of anything to say… Maybe… Because I haven't seen enough… But one day, I'll know what law really is… and I'll fight to change it if I have to."

-Apollo at the end of the first game

  15. I agree on a game centering on Athena. If she and Kay Faraday ever met, you know they'd immediately form a new Yatagarasu group with whichever 3rd girl was within arms' reach. 😀

  16. All that’s left is The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, since you’re not counting the crossover! I’d recommend playing both close together, as they’re much more intertwined than any other games in the series (they were originally supposed to be one game but the plot was too complex so they made it into two). Play them too far apart and you’ll forget important details! 1:08:08

And yes, to this day, Thalassa has not told Apollo and Trucy the truth, My hope is that the mid credits scene means she’ll finally tell them in AA7!

EDIT: Costumes apply regardless of whether you’ve played the case before or not, though they can make serious scenes feel less serious. The illustrations and cutscenes are all things from the game that you’ve already seen, so while there’s nothing new you can easily go back and look at them. And other than Turnabout Time Traveler, there are 2 asinine attorney cases exclusive to the 3DS release of SoJ. They’re super short cases that are incredibly stupid in all the best ways and I’d absolutely recommend playing them too!

  17. Two bakers being dicks to each other -> -> -> -> -> -> -> -> -> -> -> -> -> -> -> the toppling of a tyrannical regime

  18. You have 2 Ace Attorney games left, The Great Ace Attorney and The Great Ace Attorney 2. They are spin-off prequels where you play as Pheonix's ancestor, fortunately, you can get them on all modern platforms.

  19. You know something I just realized about this… Ga'ran's lack of spiritual power is implied to be why Rayfa is performing the divination seance. Because before she was born, it used to be the queen's duty. This justice system was never meant to have a child involved in the proceedings as Rayfa was

  20. It was a long one but I love this case so much. It’s a rollercoaster. This game is in the top of the best games in this series

  21. lucah, I've watched all your ace attorney playthroughs! I'm so glad I found them back in 2018 (back then I thought I'd never catch up to your current uploads lmao). Thanks for producing amazing content

  22. Maybe it was just my bad luck catching up on this let's play literally 1 episode before the case 5 finale, but this ending honestly felt REALLY abrupt and disappointing.
Like I feel like there should've been so much more to investigate about the attempted assassination on Amara and it should've taken way longer to get to the conclusion that Ga'ran couldn't channel spirits.

  23. Ga'ran was abandoned by her god, her people and even by herself, I can't imagine a more fitting end…
Also, I'm sure Rayfa will be the strongest queen ever, she endured a lot during this case, I have nothing but respect for her.
Also, also, the Apollo trilogy has come to its end, just like Phoenix it was great to see him rise from a rookie to a legend, I'm very proud of him.

  24. 37:17 Edgeworth secretly being ripped is like how Wright is super durable, except instead of having extreme defensive, Edgeworth has extreme strength.
I remember there being the anime where they showed Edgeworth carrying the Steel Samurai's spear in court as evidence and Wright is barely able to hold it himself because it was too heavy, or something.

  25. This was great! As always with your Ace Attorney LPs, I feel a deeper appreciation for the characters and the story. The DLC case is quite nice, if I recall correctly, and seems right up your alley! I also cannot wait for you to play The Great Ace Attorney, EASILY the best game (or games I guess) in the series. I have actually never seen a full playthrough on the localization, I saw a complete translated playthrough back when the game was a Japanese exclusive so I'm excited to see these cases in a new officially translated light~ But of course, let me not get ahead of myself, for now, enjoy the dlc case and a well-deserved rest!
