  1. Lucah, right here in this video Dhurke foreshadowed two big plot twists! And you wont get the plot twists till you discover them! Food for thought.

  2. The “he’s got something up his sleeve” was your hint that you were just barely off. They meant that literally XD

  3. I love how this case drops bombshell after bombshell, and then tells you that Dhurke STILL has a big secret. It really keeps the player on their toes.

  4. "the killer of who!? I thought amara was still alive!?"

Inga, Lucah. THe guy he's being accused of murdering right now. remember, the whole reason we're even here?

  5. did…did apollo think AMARA was his mum?

apollo no, you're not a royal child, your story isn't THAT dumb.

  6. Once-an-episode reminder that you haven't played Mario and Luigi; Partners in Time yet.

This is fun to watch. She doesn't know anything yet…

  7. It's clear Nahyuta has hangups about this case, but I still can't bring myself to like Nahyuta even as a tragic antagonist. He's way to smug and takes to much pleasure in dishing out the harshest punishments. They're clearly trying to set up some tragic thing about his spirit getting crushed with his whole, "Let it go, and move on," catch phrase, but I still don't see how he could justify committing so many atrocities. I stick by my idea I posted on a previous episode where I said Rayfa should have been this games prosecutor. Her growth and story has been far more enjoyable, and I think it would have been a really interesting twist to have the games young girl companion also be your opponent in court. So you know for a fact you and the prosecution stand on equal footing, but they're still kicking your ass and forcing you to bluff your way to victory.

  8. When preceving Dhurke, you caught the change of his sleeve color but then presented his hand instead twice putting the sleeve completely out of frame.

  9. "They seem to know Apollo has the orb some how" see Phoenix telling the queen Apollo was Dhurke's son. It is a logical assumption given they were both there and its missing.

  10. For what it’s worth, the perception needs to be Dead on. So that’s why you were failing.

  11. Man, with all of this info dumping in this episode, I feel so bad for both Apollo and Dhurke

  12. Lucah doing "Meanwhile, at the Hall of Justice" triggered a Pavlovian response in me and I went "Meanwhile, at the Legion of Doom"

  13. Maaaaan… Yeah, Dhurke's caught something alright. Something that, to my knowledge, is incurable to this day. Can't talk about it here, but when we get to it… Hoo boy.

  14. I find it kinda funny that it's Apollo who gets all of this history and not Phoenix, who we know next to nothing about his family. All we know is he had two famously alive childhood friends (unlike Clay Terran). Though after how fans reacted to him in AA4… I think I get why Nick wasn't given new backstory or roots. Apollo, though? His catchphrase is "I'm fine", he's definitely okay. Give that guy some familial trauma we haven't put him through the wringer enough yet, he can have 3 dads dw about it. ;p

  15. I’m going to be real with you. This case is HEAVY on the emotions. It’s a violent rollercoaster.

  16. 23:56 Well you had to specifically choose that part of Dhurke’s sleeve where that white thing was glowing under it.

  17. 23:50 It’s really misleading when they do stuff like that in these games. I’ve noticed it with the later Ace Attorney games in particular; usually in this situations, when you choose the wrong thing, you just get a generic response. But sometimes, when you choose something that’s really close to the answer but ISN’T the answer, they give a specific response to hint that you’re getting close; but the way this particular part here is written, it’s confusing, it doesn’t really hint too heavily that you are still supposed to look at the arm, just in a different spot.

  18. 13:54 No, he can’t get out of it the way Nayhuta did. I’m pretty sure Nayhuta is the only one who can do that, because as we’ve seen in court, he can somehow telekinetically squeeze objects against people’s bodies, like he’s done with the rosary beads. So he can use that to avoid having the bracelet used on him.

  19. I'm not joking about the Final Exam thing. Even the smallest detail from the least related case could be crucial.

  20. 1:38 Let’s just talk about the fact that Nahyuta is 25, so if this incident happened 23 years ago, he was only 2. Meaning the laws of this nation are so screwed up that they dictated a 2-year-old be expelled from the royal family.

  21. 14:20

Lucah: "I think this hand might move at some point."

The hand and the arm literally moving the same time: are we a joke to you?

  22. With how much is going on in the case by this point, this is truly becoming Apollo’s version of Bridge to the Turnabout.

  23. Say what you will about Nahyuta being harsh and disrespectful to defense attorneys and those accused, but he’s a hard worker. Even with the public branding of being the son of an assassin, he managed to become a prosecutor worthy of respect. No one can fault him for lack of conviction.

It’s also nice to see Beh’leeb proactively working to help people suffering under the DC Act. Her husband’s sacrifice for her sake really did spark something incredible.

But Dhurke’s talk with Apollo, the fact that Amara’s still alive, and his last, big secret…Poor Apollo’s already been put through the wringer as it is without more to worry about…

  24. so, I don’t think the thing you’re supposed to perceive is ever subtle. look for the most OBVIOUS difference/change and ask about that. so in this case, that ‘discolouration’ on the jacket was the clue.

  25. Oh yeah, the guards somehow knew that Apollo had the orb. I'm sure it had nothing to do with Phoenix saying out loud that Dhurke is Apollo's father (well foster father but nonetheless) in front of Ga'ran

  26. This is where Nahyuta’s development starts. A lot of people who don’t like Nahyuta say this was way too late for his development to start, but honestly, I think we just need to experience more with a nicer Nahyuta. Just for what it’s worth, remember Nahyuta is clearly having some hang ups over prosecuting his father and (potentially) his brother.

  27. Truths revealed and cryptic tragedies and new mysteries and questions piling on top of whatever answers we seek. All the while, we have hardly made any progress in what happened in Inga’s locked room murder. With the revolution upon Ga’ran’s doorstep and the fate of both a country and the lives of so many (Apollo and co included) will a they be able to pull out a win in the upcoming trial and will it even matter when they are up against an enemy more powerful than any they’ve faced before?

  28. Oh boy I cant wait for the trial

    It is so good

Also Nahyuta's let it go and move on in this context sounded like he adressing himself rather than us
Which I find interesting to say at least

But anyway we are getting closer to the trial
    Im excited

  29. I think the whole bracelet segment is so interesting bc it’s the first time that I can remember Lucan has gotten the “close, but not quite” result. Which is funny since she always says it trips her up but usually gets it spot on after a repeat listen or two. I do wish the game was clearer on needing a different tic.

  30. BTW, I think it's grand time to remind Lucah what she said about this game in Episode 21 at 8:41… Just in case…

  31. I think giving the orb to Datz is actually a pretty good decision, he is very competent when he wants to be

  32. Giving something important to Datz…I hope he comes through with a Gumshoe moment! (And not make Apollo regret the decision).
