  1. Yes who can imagine that the village which has an inherited leadership position and a history of people killing each other over it has a MURDER happening. The idea!

  2. Yeahh not really a fan of how this is built. I feel like many of the character interactions are a bit forced and not that natural. For example, Athene not telling Apollo makes no sense, no matter what Phoenix said. Feels like a plot device more than a natural decision, which sorta breaks immersion.

  3. Damnit, I called it that there was blackmail, and goddamn Maya, kidnapped again? How does this keep happening?

  4. I always love the reactions of paul walking to the witness stand after the recess. certified "oh for FUCKS SAKE" moment

  5. Funnily enough, the last time Maya was kidnapped to coerce Feenie into getting a murderer off the hook, we also had a witness giving testimony remotely through a vaguely face-shaped device! It even sweat oil, too!

  6. the holy mother appearing in the founder's orb isn't bad FOR US, just Phoenix. Remember the core of this trial is "is this the founder's orb, a khurainist treasure, or the crystal of ami fey, a treasure of kurain village owned by the Atishon family". With the Holy Mother appearing in the orb, its proof that it's the treasure meant to be given to the Dragons and NOT something that belongs to Paul Atishon, which is good for us since that was our arguement from the start but means that Pheonix issn't gonna win this one.

all this to say you went 'uh oh' for no reason XD

  7. It took me until Lucah said Armie's name at the beginning of this video for me to get the pun I kid you not
ok im less than 10 minutes in, I think that I should be really concerned that Phoenix just lost… 11:40 THERE IT IS
    43:22 apollo you goof
gahhhhhhhhhhhhhh the cliffhanger of soooorts >^<

  8. It's pretty clear now why Dhurke is the best non-playable character in the entire series this side of Herlock Sholmes.

  9. Trust me Lucah, you will want to pace yourself on this case. You're legit not even halfway through what might be the longest case in the series to date.

  10. Paul thought that the junior partner would crumble in court, but he didn't know that Apollo already got a boss convicted twice as a rookie.

  11. I wonder, is Maya really in trouble or did someone realize they could just TELL Phoenix that she was and he'd probably believe them anyway? XD

  12. Yeah, this is basically Farewell, My Turnabout (Justice For All's finale case) all over again, but now we're looking at Phoenix's distress from an outside perspective. …And once again, this would've been so much less stressful for him if Apollo and the Judge weren't ignoring the very obvious signs that he's being coerced… (Seriously, you old fart, we've been through this exact scenario before! Atishon literally made an obvious threat in the middle of court! Get a clue!)

  13. I'm ngl, I'm kinda annoyed that this is just Farewell, My Turnabout all over again. Did Maya seriously have to be in trouble twice after her return? :

I mean it's nice to see it from a different character's perspective and an excuse to have Apollo (plus Athena) face Phoenix in court but… there really should have been a different setup.

  14. 43:43 We've all seen that sprite. When Pheonix feels like he's well and truly cornered. And it's fucking heartbreaking to see when we, the player, have no goddamn idea what's going on

  15. Yup. This is Farewell, My Turnabout 2.0, this is the second time Maya Fey has been kidnapped and threatened with death if Phoenix doesn't get his Client a favorable acquittal. First, Matt Engarde and now, Paul Atishon-Wimperson.

How are you enjoying watching Phoenix squirm? He even pulled out the Autopsy, like those Prosecutors you faced: Miles Edgeworth, Manfred Von Karma, Franziska Von Karma, Diego Armando "Godot", Sebastian Debeste/ Eustace Winner, Blaise Debeste/ Arsine Winner, Simon Blackquill, Klavier Gavin & Nahyuta Sahdmadi. Not in that order.

I don't know what Blaise's official name will be, but, I hope Arsine will be it. It sounds like the crime of Arson, but, pronounced like Arsene; as in The Gentleman Thief & Pillager of Twilight, Arsene Lupin by Maurice Leblanc.

  16. Hm… Isn't the bigger issue here that Buff never actually had the right to give the orb away in the first place, since he only borrowed it, never owned it?

Anyway, something feels so … off … about this. Paul feels like too obvious of a culprit, and his guilt feels like it was worked out too quickly after figuring out the murder weapon.

  17. Could they pick anyone else to be kidnapped. Pearl is in the story it could have been her and been just as emotionally effective.

  18. But Apollo, you don’t know the location of the Ringmaster Doctor’s head, so Paul Atishon can’t be the killer! This murder method feels like an attempt to fix the whole Turnabout Big Top case where they said Acro was the killer despite being wheelchair bound because he was able to throw a statue clear out his window striking the victim from above, whereas here, it’s the exact same scenario almost. Except the suspect isn’t wheelchair bound.

  19. they always getting maya😭i already knew it was gone be her or maybe pearl that Mr.WimpyBoy had in captivity or something

  20. Okay, I barely could hear Dhurke's objection clearly, but I thought I recognized his voice. That's Jamieson Price, a really good voice actor. I first started recognizing him from Monster Hunter World as the Commander and then from Lastman. So yeah, you should have recognized him too, geez Lucah!

  21. Maya just can't catch a break, can she? Reuniting with Phoenix might have been more of a curse than a blessing.

  22. Looking at the house layout again and this is just me thinking out loud but.. Didn't Sarge say her dad moved them out to the village hoping the more rural area would help her feel more comfortable going outside? But like.. Sarge is wheelchair bound, and the only way into the Doctor's office is a Spiral Staircase, and the only way out of the house is also a flight of stairs (based on the layout diagram, idk it might be ramped), so it feels more like he made it easier to isolate her, from both the outside and himself??

  23. There are breaks in this case BUT the various parts of the trial are LONG. I'm pretty sure this is the longest current case in Ace Attorney history

  24. Man, A cornered heart is one of my favourite themes in the game, it goes hard in telling you EXACTLY how bad things are at the moment in time when it plays.

Also yeah, Dhurke is so fuckin' awesome, I love him so damn much! xD

  25. I think Dhurke's VA is Jamieson Price, who also voices Sojiro Sakura in Persona 5. If it's not him, they sound VERY similar.
