  1. Okay, so with the reveal of the body photo, it seems to be setting up the possibility that Reus was killed already and was strung up and then planted in the coffin. Clearly it can't have just happened during the show if we assume the body was elevated above the stage. The puff of smoke didn't cover enough fir someone to sneak dropping the body in without risking others seeing. So now I'm thinking maybe his body was under the stage and they pulled him up into the coffin through the secret exit. I also do wonder if the coffin itself might've been moved afterwards, cause i assume that umderstage thing isn't hust running across the entire floor, and regardless of where Trucy was, she'd have noticed a body if it was in the same place as her.

I think which exit she used (back of the coffin or under the stage) will be important, as that means the killer had to have hid the body using the other exit. If Trucy was under the stage waiting to pop out, then the body would likely already be in the box, or maybe not? That puff of smoke really gives me the vibe of some tomfoolery happening under our noses. Is it possible that during thay puff of smoke, somehow the body aas actually under the stage and pull up and then I assume the puppet relocated the body in a deft maneuver before flying off? Slight of hand is popular in magic, so I'd expect a fellow magician to be able to pull a stunt like that off. And Trucy wouldn't know because of all the smoke around her. Yeah, I'm like 70% sure it had to have been done using the body being pulled up method. How fitting for a puppet master to use the victim's own body on a string as well. And yeah, the blood being absent from the coffin itself means it was either planted during the act and therefore had little time to actually bleed onto the coffin, or it was somehow wiped. I wonder if we investigate and maybe find a bloody napkin or something and luminol reveals there was blood after all. I mean, Ema has to be here for a reason, you know?

The number one thing we should examine is that damn puppet. I feel like who is controlling it pr in charge of controlling it is also incredibly sus but I feel like that would be too obvious. Probably a red herring.

In any case, i still don't trust Bonny. I don't really have a reason to suspect her at all and she's literally the only person we've met but still. Hopefully next episode we get more character interactions with the people in the theater.

  2. This Sadhmadhi guy's gonna be a real jerk, I can tell. Who struts up to a crime scene that shows a blatant lack of blood (seriously, if Mysterious got shanked there'd be a few pints around, let alone on the blade – though I bet that 'conveniently' wound up with blood on it when it went missing), declares it's a murder, and puts himself in charge sparking a major conflict of interest?

  3. I am going to take a stab in the dark since I have never played the game. It was the bunny girl that did it.

  4. "Do I/should I know X" most of the time the answer to this will actually be "no" lol. In the case of Nahyuta Sahdmadhi, no you have not heard of him before now. If if a previous character is brought up and it's important enough to the plot, the game will take a moment to remind you, kind of like how you got a brief review of Troupe Gramarye but noted Mr. Reus was new information to you.

  5. Detective sky went from upstart kid in rise from the ashes to grumpy detective because she’s working with the person who got her idol disbarred to…

    , So pretty…
    What?!

  6. Fun Fact: Emma Skye was supposed to be the "detective's role" replacement for Gumshoe for the Apollo Trilogy, but due to the nature of Dual Destinies' plot, she had to sit that game out because of everything that happens with Fulbright. Her not appearing during that game was used as the perfect excuse for her to finally graduate into a fully-fledged forensics scientist.

  7. Dear Mario,

Do NOT come to the castle.
I've made an absolute dogshit cake.
Just gone and completely fucked it up.

    I'm so sorry.
    –Princess Toadstool, Peach ❤

  8. I love the way that Lucah's pfp covers the characters face perfectly at the end of an episode

  9. I love Ema's new musing sprite. She's really chilled out now. Well, that and become a fingerprinting gremlin. I love her so much.

Man. On revisit, that really was a trash recording.

  10. 10:40 That little Ema wiggle is also a favorite of mine, she's simply adorable
19:49 If memory doesn't fail me this is just the game showing off the 3DS effects

  11. 26:52 I love the new sprite of Ema on her phone. It definitely shows you that this game was made much more recently than the others.

  12. for the record, if at any point in this game you see Apollo talking about something you do not recognize and you ask yourself "has this been mentioned before?" No it has not. 5 and 6 are actually pretty infamous for this, where Apollo suddenly has knowledge of something that has never come up before because they found some roundabout way to shoehorn him into the plot. Dual Destinies did this with Clay. This is sort of where the whole joke of Apollo having 9 backstories comes from.

  13. Fun fact: If you take up the tutorial, Athena admits it's more of a refresher to her.

  14. Theory: Lamiroir is also Ema's mom…but not Lana's. Also, Gregory Edgeworth is Lamiroir's dad.

  15. Nahyuta Sahdmadhi isn't a pun name, but his last name is a reference to the proverb "hotoke no kao mo sando made". It means "Even the Buddha becomes angry if you brush his face thrice". It'll make more sense later. Supposedly Nahyuta's design was intentionally androgynous to line up with some of the genderless divine beings in Hinduism and Buddhism.

  16. 3:33 Y'all! Don't say a damn word! It always amazes me how many times shit like this happens. Lucah says something that she doesn't realize goes deeper than she knows. Near perfect comments

  17. If you remember, in the epilogue of Dual Destinies, Gaspen Payne gets told that the chief prosecutor wants to see him for… not being a good prosecutor. Guess that all falls into place! Lol

  18. For the record Lucah, because Emas name only has one M, you pronounce it with a hard E, like beer or heed

  19. Can't wait till you meet Prosecutor Sahdmadhi. A lot of people hate him I've noticed and even people who defend this game wish Klavier or Blackquill could have prosecuted this case instead. With that said though, I'm eager to see what voice you give him, his voice is kinda deep courtesy of the ultra talented Matt Mercer, who you may recognize as Ganondorf in Tears of the Kingdom. And yes it's spelt Ku rai en and Ku rai nese.
6:02 You get an achievement for doing that in the Apollo Justice Trilogy.

  20. Ema's little swaying back and forth, tapping her chin animation is adorable. :p

  21. Ema: He's not your normal prosecutor.
Me: We've had a whip lover, a coffee addict, an eccentric rockstar and a samurai. What does "normal" even mean at this point?
