Six months after the unfortunate events in Kurain Village, the dynamic duo of Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey look to give little Pearl Fey a memorable night of fun at the circus with it’s various attractions; including world famous flying magician Maximillion Galactica!

Although the night goes well, trouble rears its ugly head a few days later in the form of murder and Max is the prime suspect!

At Maya’s insistence Phoenix takes up the case, but unlike his previous cases where the defendants were generally amicable or liked well enough by their peers; Max has seemingly managed to get on the bad side of just about everyone under the big top!

Can our heroes find the truth and successfully defend their enchanted client!?

This is part nine of a cinematic take on dubbing “Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney- Justice for All”, I hope you enjoy!

Closed captions should be available if you need them or want something more like the traditional experience.

  1. Took long enough, eh?

    EDIT:
Part 10 will be Thursday or Friday unless something incredibly unfortunate occurs in which case it could be delayed to next Monday, but if it comes to that I'll just do 3 episodes next week (Mon/Wed/Fri) to make up for it.

  2. I only found out about the dub a month ago and man am I glad I found it. It’s like experiencing the series for the first time all over again, and I’m ecstatic to see it continue.

  3. AT LAST! IT'S HERE! WE'VE WAITED SO LONG!
Looking forward to the next few episodes. This is by far my favorite dubbing project on youtube. Glad to see it finally continue 😀

  4. Oh sweet! Happy to see you and your crew were able to get this case taken care of. Looking forward to following it!

  5. Its been what, over a year?
    About that, yes.
A year is along time to wait. You haven't realised how much we've suffered.
    You've suffered?!
Its finally here. Huge congratulations to the team!

  6. I was looking forward to this one due to all the colorful characters and the voice actors really knocked it out of the park, from Max being the most all the time to Ben being a stammering mess. I also really liked how Moe switched to a more serious voice when talking about Maximillion and the extra dialogue for transitions, which helped things flow a lot better. All in all, very much worth the wait.

  7. Finally! One step closer to the big turning point of the series!

Great dub work so far for a highly underappreciated case, by the way! I think Max's voice is the big standout performance so far.

  8. Okay first of all, the animated Maya speech bubble in the beginning is a really nice touch, I don't think those icons were animated like that before.
Max's voice is absolutely fabulous I must say. (hehe) He's got that perfect flamboyant aura that I always imagined for him and as expected, the switch to the country accent and back to the performer was seemless.
Regina's voice is a perfect mix of innocent and "clueless" for a lack of a better term, when they're talking about Leon and her father's death.
I don't even like Moe or his jokes that much, but god his VA is contagious as hell.
Ben and Trilo are also really funny together, props to the VA for managing such a loud and timid voice at the same time.
Wukong unsurprisingly is still amazing as Phoenix but damn he's such a mood in this one in particular. It's also very funny, along with the additional room transition dialogues in the beginning.

In terms of the editing, the pacing is much better than when you actually play this case. The character animations are really well done, like how Max quickly switches to his nervous sprite for a second during the psyche-lock scene, or Moe turning from chuckling to disappointed when Phoenix tells his joke.

The investigations is particularly what I dislike about this case the most but the editing and the voice actors of the colorful cast really make it better. This was absolutely worth the long wait! The case's cast is one of the very few things I really like about it. Looking forward to hearing Acro's performance later on, since I think he is a very tragic character.

PS: I didn't realize this when watching 2-2, but I was watching the anime with my friend the other day and only just noticed Pearl's voice here is really similar to her anime voice. Was that intentional on the VA's part or is it just me?

  9. I have a question. I'm sure after Justice for all you'll do Trials and Tribulations but afterwards do you plan to cover any of the other Ace Attorney games like Apollo Justice or the Investigation games?

  10. WE ARE SO BACK!!!

Do you think the Detention Centre floor is just covered in cards everytime Max is in there?

  11. You are as beautiful as the day we last met. All the little edits, from the phone call animation (near the beginning) to the Psyche-Lock dimension (near the end), were absolutely worth the wait.

And now that Prosecutor's Gambit is finally being localized — and remastered in HD, to boot — we are cooking this year! I know it's a long way off, but will we be seeing some of the remastered sprites in future cases?

  12. Ah, cool! Great to see you and the team are back! And this is shaping up to be pretty good. The voice work here does a lot to elevate the shaky source material, and I did find myself enjoying my time here.

1:55 – It's a small thing, but I appreciate how you have Phoenix clarify that spirit channeling has nothing to do with performance magic specifically. I always found it kind of weird in the original script how Phoenix says magic has nothing to do with spirit channeling even though that's basically magic as far as the layperson is concerned, haha.

3:11 – Phoenix talking to Charley is cute, haha.

25:03 – The comedic timing of Regina saying "Actually, he was killed. My dad killed him." is the funniest part of this whole video. Ms. Chestang does a good job with Regina in general, she absolutely killed it with that part.

38:03 – I love hearing the real Moe leak out in frustration there. I hope this won't be the last time we hear the facade drop. Also, I love his psychotic laugh, haha.

48:19 – The echoy effect during the Psychelock sequence effect really adds an extra dimension and makes things feel more ethereal. I can't remember if you did that in the last case, but I noticed it this time and figured I would compliment it.

    1:03:45 – Haha, Moe's squeaky clown shoes.

Overall, great work. Everybody brought their A-game here. I'll also be preaching with the choir when I say aging Regina up to 19 was a good call as well as just downplaying how everyone was attracted to her. Not only does it make things more digestible, but it does go to enhance the whole bit about how Regina is coddled. Regina being so emotionally immature that she can't process death hits even harder if she's legally an adult.

Also, Ben and Trilo are like my least favorite Ace Attorney characters ever, but I actually kind of liked them here. Part of it is that making Regina 19 makes him feel slightly less creepy, but Mr. Jenkins just does a great job at really selling the idea of Trilo almost being this distinct entity from Ben, as opposed to my admittedly cynical reading when I first played the games of Ben using Trilo as a front to hide his nasty personality.

My yapping aside, great to have you back!
