Did Robert Telles murder journalist Jeff German in 2022? Yesterday and today, Telles took the stand to try to persuade a Nevada jury that he is innocent. The cross-examination was brutal.
Telles was a Clark County, Nevada, public official, when German wrote several highly critical articles about Telles, reporting on alleged corruption and mismanagement within Telles’ office, as well as an affair with an employee. The prosecution says those articles were the motive for Robert Telles to murder German. Prosecutors say that evidence such as surveillance footage and DNA links Telles to the crime scene.
Telles has not yet been proven guilty.

He’s cooked. Period! Sarah Boone is taking notes.
Telles in Spanish pronunciation is Te – yes. The double lls are always pronounced Yah. Just saying.
He is smart enough to plan the murder extensively his disguise was very good, but forgets about his limp and he drives his car to the crime scene. Hides the crime sneakers under couch Leaves 100 pictures of the crime scene on his phone? This started as planning the perfect murder and ended up as the worst planned
murder ever.
Okay Mr spock do you find your testimonial logic 😂
It’s crazy and wild
I like the thumbnail but mid trial Ribertt Tellus decided he was going to change the pronunciation of his last name to "Tey us". Probably to keep himself relevant for the people watching the trial! 😄
Isn’t this narrative testimony one of the ethical options for a defense attorney who knows his client is guilty?
? Wouldn't the prosecutor be more effective if he spoke normally instead of yelling and sounding frustrated?
If I was on the jury, I could possibly buy the conspiracy theory, but the photos of him he’s not super fat or super tall or anything that doesn’t match him with his bald head with that hat. I think I would’ve emphasize just physically you can’t deny that it was probably him with the sombrero head on with his bald head And his weight and build and so forth let alone the Nike shoes
Sociopath !
If I was on the jury I wouldn't think negatively at all of the prosecution's questioning. In fact, he was reading my mind. Telles was furious about an article written about him, but seems nonchalant about being accused of murder?!
He so guilty the bald head with small hands killer 😡
He’s either a Mensa genius who had the foresight to know how to make it look like he was framed, or he is the dumbest murderer who thought he would have time to get rid of the evidence.
mr potatoe head is a textbook narcissist
Lee, I love your objective, experienced point of view, mixed in with your fun personal assessment! Thank you!! 🙏 💜😊
The company he is accusing of setting him up should file suit against him. He is not a good lawyer and has never even tried a case and he is 100% a fool and liar! DNA don't lie.
Surely the Defence Lawyer has to let Telles do the Summing Up for the same reason Telles was allowed narrative testimony?
Great info. Thx
I understand he's had three attorney's previously?
A spouse CAN NOT be forced to testify….but she CAN testify if she wants to!
I think he got rid of the orange jacket and murder weapon with blood on them. The hat and sneakers he tampered with, cut them up, and didn't get to dispose of them in time.
Telles is an idiot.
Telles gives off a major ick.
My main issue with the “conspiracy to frame Telles” is the fact that compass would have probably had to pay A TON of bribes, considering how big the conspiracy would have to be. I doubt they’d pay that much in fines if they had been caught engaging in fraud. And without generously paying off the many people involved, they’d always be at risk of being caught.
I have watched this trial and just a correction,,, the company that Telles is blaming set him up was not committing fraud, there is a loophole in the NV laws that let them do what Telles complained of to the different government offices and even the State Attorney General office did not find any wrongdoing in that company,
Telles could not handle being wrong or loosing the campaign period
Bruno magllis is a reference to the OJ case. Good pull but it went over the host's head
You’ve truly have to put ur gigantic tin foil cap on to believe this wild conspiracy 😂
What a denier.
He's a horrible liar
Its terrible to think there are so many narcissistic people in our world.
These people are dicusting and dangerous. 😮
?wondering how dna got under fingernails since he was covered head to toe with his crazy disguises. He didnt have scaratches on him? I know he did this just wondering
This prosector very much reminds me of Juan Ramírez – the voice, the verbiage, speaking style… Uncanny
The height question is a good question. Because, he mentioned the lift in his shoes, which I thought was pretty weird… Maybe he didn’t have the lifts in his shoes when he committed the crime. So if they had triangulated his height, it would be off
He's hardly an attorney, he's an absolute sociopath with delusions of grandeur.
why didn't he get rid of the clothing and shoes?
@lawyerlee your hair is gorgeous ❤
He would keep those in the way that he kept them to fit the story he had planned to tell.
Well, if that is his thoughts,? He’s following himself.
we can skip the closing arguments and deliberation. GUILTY let's move on.
He is NOT calm at all. He is so tense and stiff and nervous judging by his body language.
