Drama series Divorce Lawyers is a modern drama revolving around two successful divorce lawyers rival against each other and develop a romantic relationship eventually. Starring Nominee of International Emmy Award for Best Performance by an Actor, Xiubo Wu (吳秀波), and Chen Yao (姚晨), whom Time magazine named on the list of 100 global celebrities in 2014, the story starts with a successful barrister Haidong Chi’s divorce lost to his wife’s attorney Li Luo though Chi’s wife cheated on him.
The two lawyers, neither believes in love and marriage any more, often accidentally end up with the same divorce cases representing opposite parties. What’s more interesting is that they even become neighbors somehow. With the progress of the cases, the relationship between Luo and Chi, simply as competitors before, has changed subtly.
