  5. Such a useful video, thank you so much, Vanessa!! As native speakers, we use these kinds of expressions at work all the time without realizing it:
    – An alternative to "I'd like to bounce some ideas off you" that I personally use A LOT is "I'd love to jam with you on X" or "I'd love to swap notes with you."
    – On the flip side, if I'm offering to chat with someone or have them "bounce ideas off" me, I might say "I'd love to be a sounding board, so feel free to bounce any ideas off me" or "hit me up anytime you'd like to jam on X."
