so what are the signs that you’re being investigated or if you’re talking to a cop anything you tell a law enforcement officer can and likely will be used against you you see a lot of times a cop will sit you down and just want to have a casual conversation hey I want to hear your side of the story what’s the purpose to get you to make admissions the cop is investigating a crime and what they’re looking for is for you to make statements that will either corroborate what they already believe to be true or to give them more information that will help you get convicted here’s the point a cop is going to be nice and calm and cool and collected when having a conversation with you most of the time very friendly why they want you to lower your guard they want you to be comfortable they don’t want you to feel as if they’re going after something but slowly but surely you’re going to notice that the types of questions get a little bit more pointed the tone gets a little bit more aggressive and when you say something that they don’t like guess what they’re going to turn the screws on because that’s what they’re trained to do
