so you’re charged with a gun crime in California now what look I’m not going to lie to you California has very strict laws on guns possession of guns types of guns and a lot of people think well in my state it’s legal to have this type of gun or have an extended magazine and you come to California thinking that you’re allowed to do the same thing you’re allowed to possess it you’re allowed to carry it a certain way and guess what you’re not going to get a pass in California just because it’s allowed in some other state now does that mean that all hope is lost not necessarily one of the things that we do whether it’s a gun charge or murder case we always analyze the case to figure out whether or not your constitutional rights were violated because if they found that gun if they accessed the car where the gun was in if they went into your house illegally and were able to litigate that issue and win then the case can get dismissed
